Anagrav — Privacy Policy

Anagrav is an iPhone word game. This policy explains what information is involved when you play, make a purchase, or contact me, and how it is used.
Progress stored on your device
The game stores your best scores and heights, lifetime play statistics, earned stars, reward history, owned and equipped cosmetics, your chosen profile face, and game and sound settings on your device. These records let the game remember your progress and purchases. Your gameplay progress stays on your device. Purchase information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described below.
This release does not include a developer-operated account system or automatic iCloud progress synchronization. Your device’s operating-system backup settings may affect whether local app data is backed up by Apple. Restoring an App Store purchase restores eligible paid items; it does not restore earned stars or local gameplay progress.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes real-money purchases. I use RevenueCat to verify purchase status, unlock paid cosmetics, restore eligible purchases, and understand purchase activity through its purchase reporting tools. Purchase information can include product and transaction identifiers, receipt information, purchase and refund status, transaction dates, and a RevenueCat-generated anonymous app user identifier. The service also processes technical information needed to provide it, such as the app and SDK version, operating system, device type, storefront or locale, and network request information.
I do not receive your payment-card number. I do not supply RevenueCat with your email address, contact list, or advertising identifier. This integration does not enable advertising attribution, automatic device-identifier collection, or optional SDK diagnostics.
Apple and RevenueCat process information under their own terms and privacy practices. See Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
When you view purchase options, buy an item, or restore purchases, the game also checks its connection to RevenueCat. This check sends a standard network request with a temporary random value to avoid cached responses; it does not include an account identifier, receipt, or payment information.
Notifications
The game does not send notifications of any kind. It never asks for notification permission, does not schedule local notifications or reminders, and does not register for remote push notifications or upload a push token.
Advertising, tracking, and gameplay analytics
The game does not contain advertisements or Google Analytics. I do not sell personal information or use it to track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising. I do not upload the words you enter or a detailed gameplay-event log to a developer analytics service. Purchase reporting is described above.
Support messages
If you email me, I receive the address you use and the information you include. I use this to answer your request and resolve problems. Please avoid including passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated personal information.
Sharing, storage, and retention
Information is used by the services described above to provide the game, purchases, and support. I may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to address fraud or protect users’ rights. Apple and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than your own; their policies describe their practices and safeguards.
Local progress remains on your device until it is removed or replaced. Deleting the app generally removes its local data, but an operating-system backup may retain a copy. Purchase records may remain with Apple and RevenueCat to support restoration, prevent fraud, and meet applicable obligations. Deleting the app does not erase those records. I retain support correspondence only as needed to address the request and meet applicable obligations.
Your choices and requests
You can use Restore Purchases in the game’s settings, and contact whatsthewordbusiness@gmail.com with questions or requests about information I handle. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. I will assess requests under applicable law and may need information to verify and locate the relevant records. For information controlled independently by Apple, use Apple’s privacy controls or contact Apple. You may also contact your local data-protection authority where applicable.
Children and families
The game does not ask players for their age, email address, or real name. Apple provides parental controls for purchases. If you believe a child has sent me personal information that should be removed, contact whatsthewordbusiness@gmail.com so I can investigate.
Changes
I will update this policy when my practices change and show the updated effective date here. Contact whatsthewordbusiness@gmail.com with privacy questions.
